Easter Outreach 2022
EVENT TIME: 3:00 to 5:00 pm
VOLUNTEER: 2:30 to 5:30 pm
GOAL: 6 unchurched families
VENUE: Living Faith Garage and Chapel
Components of the outreach include a self-paced competition involving a craft station, a puzzle station, a snack station and a scavenger egg hunt. Each family will rotate through all stations in about 90 minutes. We will stamp their "Easter Passport" after they complete each station. The event will be topped off with singing and gospel sharing in the chapel.
Craft Station (Carmen & Youth)
Select a craft to complete within 25 minutes. Consider the Paper Mache Easter Egg because we can ask the families to leave them at church to dry, and they can return to continue to fill it with treats and surprises inside on Sunday.
Birds Nest Station (Joanna & C-YA)
There is a wide variety of no-bake birds nest cookies recipes on YouTube such as this one. Please meet with your team to select the best one for our occasion. Keep the activity to 20 minutes. If needed, we can move a microwave to the garage. Consider pre-packaging ingredients for the families. Sanitation is high priority. Provide food grade gloves and disinfect working surfaces. Since the nests have to be cooled overnight, purchase some tin foil trays with lid for the families to bring home.
Easter Puzzle Station (Calisa & Ladies)
Complete a 40-piece Easter puzzle or a gel cling poster within 20 minutes.
Scavenger Egg Hunt (Gemini & Men)
We received 50 free copies of the Easter Stories booklet from Crossway. Use it to develop clues from the first Easter egg to the second Easter egg, and so on and so forth. Maybe hunt for four to five eggs in total per family. The objective is to make families read through some of the Easter Stories. We should create different tracks for each family. Allow 25 minutes for this activity.
Singing & Gospel Sharing (PBong & C-YA)
After about 90 minutes of activities, invite families to sit on the ground in the chapel for a time of singing and Easter message. This segment should end around 5:00 pm.
Refreshments (Selina & Team Martha)
We will prepare some finger foods and soft drinks for all to enjoy and fellowship in the garage.
Church, let's be super enthusiastic about this Easter Outreach! Enter your comments below. If you’d share the names of the people that you are planning to invite, we can all pray for them too!
We can use help to develop a flyer for webpage and social media. Anyone? Would like to make it available by Friday, April 8. Done!

Thank you everyone, for doing a great job preparing for the activities! Pray for the following families who have been invited. Pray that they will come! Who else can we add to the list for prayer?
