Small Group Clinic #3

Praise the Lord for a wonderful clinic this morning!  We sure had a roomful of ironmen and ironwomen as we tried to follow Proverbs 27:17 "Iron sharpens iron and one person sharpens another." Small group is really about discipleship. You demonstrated a good understanding of discipleship below. Thank you for your diligence in serving the Lord by making disciple-makers. 

In your own words, what is a definition of a disciple?

• a student learning to be more like Christ
• follower of Christ and share the Good News with others
• a person learning from a teacher in order to become a teacher

What are the responsibilities of a Small Group Host?

• care for the small group, and share how we can be more like Jesus in different aspects of our lives
• encourages growth and reproduction through share, care, and prayer
• plan ahead, communicate with others, read in Bible study or group
• someone who is responsible for leading other to Jesus
• bring people to Christ, help people to Christ, encourage people to Christ, walk with Christ
• lead them to Christ, prepare material, pray for each other
• 💓, Care, Fun 😀, Role Model
• be welcoming, teach, care for members, be prepared
• encourage members in God's Word, encourage, care, practice
• teach people some characteristics of Christ, bring people to God, be relatable
